A Bit About Me!
Hi, I’m Spencer Enns — a communications and public relations professional who loves storytelling and connecting with people. I’m especially interested in public relations, marketing and content creation, and I love work that blends strategy with human connection.
My Background
My work and school experience has given me the chance to build skills across media, communications and event planning. While working with the Steinbach Pistons Hockey Club, I created social media content, wrote more than 120 compelling articles for the team website and helped support in-game entertainment and community events. Through school, I’ve worked on communications planning projects, including helping develop and execute a communications plan for Recreation Manitoba and supporting the planning of a student awards event. I’ve also spent several summers with BC Ferries in a customer service role, where I strengthened my ability to work with people, solve problems and stay organized in fast-paced environments.
Skills and Strengths
I bring strengths in content creation, writing, social media, strategic communications, event planning and collaboration. I’m someone who likes making ideas clear, engaging and well organized, whether that means writing an article, planning communications materials or helping bring an event together behind the scenes. I care about work that feels thoughtful, polished and genuinely connects with its audience.
I love working in a sports setting and am especially drawn to projects that tell a story and connect sports franchises with their fanbases.
